We recommend that you do not miss visiting, among others, the wonderful Crab Holes, Tigania, the islet of Diaporos, Elia or Azapiko and create beautiful memories.
We wish you a good summer and a good stay!
Crab holes
Kavourotrypes is a "complex" of small coves, one next to the other, while the pine forest reaches to the point where the sandy beach begins. Perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches of Halkidiki, which has nothing to envy from exotic destinations.
You will come across Kavourotripes, about 7 kilometers before Sarti and the first thing you will see upon reaching your destination is the wonderful turquoise waters, which will enchant you. Even today, Kavourotrypes is a hidden "paradise", which is why in most places there are no organized beaches, which enhances the beauty of the landscape even more.
The best thing to do is to go down to the Crab Holes and from there walk from one bay to another until you choose the best spot for your swim.
Orange Coast
The Orange coast is the largest beach in Kavourotripes and the only one organized with a beach bar and sunbeds. An exotic beach, with crystal clear waters and limestone rocks, which set an unreal tone to the whole landscape. In addition, you will enjoy the wonderful view towards Mount Athos and you will be rewarded by the amazing beauty of the area.
The Orange coast is located between Armenistis and Sarti, however it is not visible from the road so you have to be careful enough to see the signs from the beach bar. To the right and left of the Orange are the other coves, which make up the Crab Holes.
Pans
It is a fact that Sithonia gathers some of the most beautiful beaches of Halkidiki and perhaps Greece and one of them is definitely Tigania. This particular beach is located between Klimataria and Kriaritsi and there you will find golden sand and waters strongly reminiscent of the Caribbean.
Tigania consists of three small beaches, one next to the other and considered one of the relatively unknown parts of Halkidiki, mainly due to the difficult access. You can reach this "hidden" enchanting beach either through the coastal road, which starts from the beach of Sykia, or from the main road of Sithonia, which leads from Sykia to Kalamitsi.
Trani Ammouda
This particular beach is located a short distance from the bay of Panagia and its main feature is the clear blue, shallow and calm waters and the golden sand. It is a large organized beach, ideal for families, which, however, due to its size, also has plenty of places for someone to set up their umbrella and relax on the beach.
Trani Ammuda is also suitable for wonderful afternoon walks by the sea, as it is long and gives a refreshing sense of freedom. North of the beach there is a promontory with the ruins of a Byzantine tower, while daily boats depart from the picturesque harbor at Ormos tis Panagia, which circumnavigate Mount Athos.
Karydi
Karydi beach is a wonderful bay in the area of Vourvourou, with emerald waters, natural shade from the pine trees that reach the sea and white rocks that invite you to lie on them for sunbathing. Walnut has fine sand and warm waters, ideal for playing.
However, its special feature is the shallow waters, since you can walk for several meters from the shore and the water just wets your knees. If you visit this beach between July and August, know that it is full of people, but the area is just as wonderful throughout September. This particular beach has canteens, but it is not organized.
Aretes
The characteristic feature, which many beaches of Sithonia have, are the wonderful little picturesque coves, which is also found on Aretes beach. These are three small coves, which you will find after the beach of Tristinika and are even today one of the well-hidden "secrets" of Halkidiki.
In one of the three bays you will find sunbeds and umbrellas, however the other two are not organized and the tranquility combined with the amazing beauty of the landscape will enchant you. The pine trees reach almost to the water spreading shade in several places and the whole setting invites you to enjoy the summer and relax.
Blue Waters (Diaporos)
Galaziia Nera is a beach on the island of Diaporos, otherwise known as the blue lake. It is a wonderful beach, perhaps one of the best in the whole of Halkidiki, which is actually located between the islands of Diaporos and Agios Isidoros.
The Blue Waters is a small bay, with shallow and warm waters, ideal for swimming and diving, while the beach has white sand. You can reach this particular beach by boat and the best thing would be to spend your day there enjoying the exotic beauty of the area. Diaporos belongs to a cluster of a total of nine islets off the coast of Vourvourou.
Lagomandra
Lagomandra is one of the most famous beaches of Sithonia, with relatively deep crystal waters and amazing natural scenery. It is easily accessible from the national road, while there are taverns and supermarkets in the area. It is a long beach, with a length of up to one kilometer and naturally gathers many visitors.
A large part of this beach is organized, but there are also places where you can sit with your own umbrella. However, even if you don't want to carry an umbrella, the pine trees offer wonderful shade to enjoy a few hours of relaxation.
Glarokavos
Glarokavos is a beach that has it all. Wonderful blue-green crystal waters, pine trees that reach the seashore and a cosmopolitan air. One of the most crowded beaches of Kassandra, which is like a natural pool and is located a short distance from Pefkohori where you can go for a walk.
However, if you want to swim in peace at this particular beach, then skip the organized part and choose a quieter and more secluded spot. The area is quite large and you are sure to find a place that will meet your standards.
Sarti
The beach in Sarti is one of the largest beaches in Sithonia, it has clear blue waters, easy access and wonderful spots, which cover every taste. It is, after all, a beach that is three kilometers long, so whatever you are looking for, you will definitely find it.
Here there are organized sections of the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, however if you want something quieter you will definitely find a spot where you can relax away from the bustling crowd. The beach of Sarti has a wild beauty, which fortunately does not fade with the passage of time, while it also offers a magnificent view of Mount Athos.
Elia
The beach of Elia will certainly pleasantly surprise you if you are going for the first time because it combines special characteristics. It is a relatively narrow beach, but long in length, as it reaches two kilometers, while the pine branches "hang" over the sand like natural umbrellas and create amazing spots for relaxation.
Walking along Elia you will find that in some places it has a wonderful fine sandy beach, while in others you will find pebbles. This particular beach is located between Marmara and Nikiti and is definitely worth a visit during your vacation.
Azapiko
Azapiko is a wonderful beach, south of Neos Marmaras, which for the most part retains its wild character, as it is not organized and that is why it is preferred by those who want peace.
This particular beach consists of two large and several smaller bays, while it is located in a relatively remote spot, away from traffic and noise, so you can listen to the splash of the waves undisturbed. Azapiko has a white sandy beach and blue-green, but quite deep waters.
Toroni beach
Toroni beach brings together a series of characteristics that rank it as one of the best in Sithonia. It has clear blue waters, golden sand and perfect organization, since here you will find taverns, cafes, but also businesses for marine activities.
The beach is very long and this means that at its edges it also has quieter spots for peace and relaxation. We recommend that in the afternoon, when the breeze starts to blow, you walk along the sandy beach towards the ruins of the Byzantine castle of Likythos.
