From this little port, the boats that make cruises to Mount Athos start, one of the most beautiful and particularly interesting excursions of Halkidiki. More specifically, the boats set sail from Ormos tis Panagia early in the morning and the first monastery they meet is that of Agios Pavlos, while other monasteries then appear in the uniquely beautiful landscape of the Athos peninsula.

Also, most of these boats make a stop at the islet of Ammouliani to eat or swim in its clear blue waters. From Ormos tis Panagia you can even rent a boat to visit the islets opposite Vourvourou, such as Diaporos.

A large part of Nikiti with taverns, restaurants, bars and shops is located along the beach front, however if you visit Nikiti you should definitely see the old settlement with its beautiful alleys.

Nikiti offers many options for all hours of the day from the morning cafe to restaurants for food and great bars to have a drink and have fun. Of course, you should not forget to try Nikiti's ravani, whose fame has gone beyond the borders of Greece.

However, apart from the emerald beaches and the endless entertainment, Nikiti is also known for the Diaplo of the Toroneos Gulf. A sporting event that usually takes place at the end of summer with the participation of athletes from Greece and abroad.

Also, for hiking lovers, we recommend a walk to Itamos, a beautiful mountain, which has been designated as a protected habitat. You can also visit the early Christian royal church of Sophroni, as well as the church of Agios Nikitas.
